Membership decisions
Student and Associate membership are entry and professional-affiliation pathways. Fellow is a distinguished standing subject to institutional assessment; payment alone does not establish scholarly authority. Institutional Affiliate is reserved for organizations with an identifiable formal representative.
Records and status
Membership status, certificates, directory inclusion, and public profiles are administered as separate records. Public visibility requires the member’s choice and administrative approval and may be withdrawn without ending the private membership record.
Conflicts and corrections
Institutional, editorial, or membership conflicts should be disclosed to the relevant administrative contact. Requests to correct a public record are reviewed against the underlying membership or publication record.
